Meghna Services

Kiran Mavadia completed his Electronics & Sound Engineering in 1978 from the only Technical Institute in India to award this Diploma i.e. A.V.P.T.I at Rajkot. Immediately he joined Photophone Industries – the top Cinema Product Manufacturing Company in India and having 70% market share in India plus 85% market share in Gujarat.

After 7 years of career, he left the job as Senior Service Manager & started his own company Meghna Services. Within a short span of one year, he was recognized as Technical Consultant to Saya Amusement Manufacturing PVT.LTD for project ‘CINERA180’ (180° dome projection with 70mm projector & six track sound system first time in India). Once again he was selected as Marketing Consultant for Systematic India for newly introduced 3 chip LCD projector in India.

Meanwhile Meghna Services had started manufacturing different audio projects which were unique in the field. In 1985, meghna services started manufacturing portable amplispeaker and introduced four improved model in the same category. In 1991, Meghna Services manufactured first ever distribution amplifier 2 i/p – 20 i/p for sunset drive-in cinema Ahmedabad. In the home theater segment of 2.1 sound system we have introduced our own Meghna 200 watt professional stereo power amplifier and speaker for the same.
By 1992-93 Meghna Services had become a reputed name in the Cinema Industries.

• On August 5, 1994, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’, the first hit movie with Dolby Sound System, installed by Kiran Mavadia, Meghna Services, at Rajshri cinema, Gandhinagar.
• On August 23, 1996, ‘Hindustani’, the first movie with DTS.Kiran Mavadia, Meghna Services installed DTS Processor at Mira Cinema.
• On October 31st,1997,’Dil to Pagal Hai’, the first success movie with Dolby Digital Sound System. Kiran Mavadia, Meghna Services installed Dolby Digital Sound System,at Kinnary Cinema, Surat.
• The first six screens Multiplex in India by Zee Cinema group & also first 'CP650D'Dolby Computerized processor installed at Fun Republic at Ahmedabad by Kiran Mavadia- Meghna Services.

In the Cinema Industries, Meghna Services has developed so many (auxiliary) products to support Dolby & DTS sound track and has established its name in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. Kiran Mavadia as technically qualified & experience electronics & sound engineer with all latest software and hardware to do perfect installation of Dolby, Dolby Digital and DTS sound system -completed 85+ cinema across India.

Meghna Services started manufacturing Meghna 8 track A/V Monitor & Digital match box and supplied it all over India to different Distributor of Cinema Sound System.

After creating lots of landmarks in the name of Meghna Services, Kiran Mavadia thought of expanding with the brand name Audio Acoustic Arena a new concept in India and first one in Gujarat with world latest software JBL SMAART & EASE at Audio Acoustic Arena in 2005.
